AUTHORITIES SURPRISED
CANNOT UNDERSTAND
(United Press Association.^Copyright.) (Received 14th December, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. I Considerable surprise is expressed in Rugby circles at a cabled statement | that the All Blacks, although arranging to play a match in Melbourne en route for South Africa, refuse to play a match in Sydney.. Rugby officials state that they cannot understand the attitude adopted by the Dominion authorities in view of the particularly friendly relations between New Zealand and New South Wales.
