(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") THAMES, This Day. Reserved judgment was given by Mr. J. W. Poynton, -S.M., in a case in which W. C. Kelly, a publican at Kopu, was charged with having draught whisky in labelled bottles of other/brands. The Magistrate said that a prima facie case had been made by the prosecution, and in the absence of an explanation the accused must be convicted. He was found in possession of bottles which ha 2 undestroyed labels, and which contained draught whisky. He was convicted and fined £20 on one charge. The others were withdrawn at the suggestion of the Magistrate.
