BURGLARS AT WORK IN AUCKLAND.

(Bj Telegraph.—Pr««s Association.) AUCKLAND, 23rd November. Explosives were successfully but unprofitably used on a Bafe in the office of C and A. Odlin's Timber Company, Ltd., in Otahuhn on Monday evening. As in numciong recent instances of safeblowing, the explosives were heard by residents in, the vicinity. The thieves effected an entry through a window and apparently used two charges of explosive. One charge was applied to the door of the safe, and a Becond charge was nsed to open the cash drawer. The burglars obtained nothing for their pains.
