MURDER AND SUICIDE
ATTEMPT TO COVER CRIME BY FIRE.
(Sydney Sun Cable.) (Received 21st October, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, 20th October. Colonel Wray, owner of a country mansion in Yorkshire, shot his wife and son with a sporting gun, scattered the house with kerosene and straw, and started a fire. He then shot himself dead in his bedroom, but whon he fell he extinguished the flames. Ho had also started a fire oft the ground floor, but it died out after burning the stairs.
