METHODIST BIBLE CLASS UNION

The annual meeting of the Wellington District Methodist Young Men's Bible Class Union was held in the V.M.C.A. Assembly Hall last evening. The annual report and balance-sheet presented to the meeting disclosed a very satisfactory position. Reference was made to the fact that several young men from the Wellington Union had offered themselves as candidates for the ministry, and special mention was made of the very successful district camp held last Easter. It was resolved that in future the financial year end as on 31st May, and that the annual meeting be held during the last week in June. Rev. E. S. Emmitt, M.C., was elected patron of the union, and Rev. J. Dennis president. The new secretary is Mr. S. J. Varcoe, who held similar office some time ago, while Mr. G. E. Turney was re-elected to the position of treasurar.
