LONDON TALLOW MARKET.
(United Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 21st October, 2 p.m.) LONDON, 20th October. At the tallow sales 14(18 casks were offered iind 58G sold. Prices were unchanged. The Dank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advice from its London office, under date 20th instant:— "Tallow: Demand lias improved with prices steady. Current quotations Good mutton, 43a per cwt; good h^ef, 42s Cd per cwt; good mixed, 41s 6d to 42s per cwt;. gut, 30s to 38s lid per cwt." ' •■ The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, , has received the following cablegram from its London house under date 20th instant:—"Tallow: We quote present ci.f. and c. valuet for the following descriptions of tallow:—Fine mutton, 12s Cd per cwt; good beef, 44s per cwt; mixed, 41s 3d per cwt; market quiet.'' Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram lrom their London house, under date of the 20th instant:—"Tallow: 1460 casks offered; 701 casks sold; prices unchanged."
