SHIPMENTS OF MEAT FROM SOUTH AMERICA.

The New1 Zealand Meat Producers' Board iias received a cable from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended 14th October, 1926, from Argentine and Uruguay :—198,250 quarteers of chilled beef, 12,374 quarters frozen beef, 30,885 carcasses frozen mutton, 32,780 carcasses frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period totalled: 79,573 quarters frozen beef, 5795 carcasses frozen mutton.
