AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS

NO MATCH IN AUCKLAND

(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The' Evening Post.") AUCKLAND, This Day. The Auckland Cricket Association has discussed the question of inviting the Australian cricketers, who will arrive on 7th November, to play a match on the following day. At last evening's meeting of the Management Committee tho opinion was expressed that it would be practically impossible to arrange a match owing to the limited stay and the fact that a suitable ground would not be available. In the circumstances it was decided to approach the Auckland Bacing Club with a view to an invitation being extended to the Australians to attend the race meeting at Ellerslie on ' Bth November. The visitors sail for Sydney the same evening.
