With one dissentient only, the Central Council of the Australian Clerks' Union decided to expel from its OTganisation tho Premier, Mr. J. T. Lang, the Minister of Lands, Mr. Loughlin, the Minister of Health, Mr. Cann, the Soeretary of the Parliamentary Labour Party, Mr. O'Halloran, the Chairman of Committees, Mr. Greig, and Mr. Murphy, members oi the Legislative Assembly. The allegation made against them is that they failed to give effect to the policy of the union, which for the past eighteen months has been agitating for the betterment of [ conditions of employment of members engaged in the Public Service. The Ministers interviewed later, declined to comment on the position.
