V.M.C.A. GYMNASTS

On Saturday and Monday next the Wellington public ■will, have the opportunity of witnessing the varied and useful training of a modern gymnasium under the guidance of an expert, Mr. J. A. Duffy, the V.M.C.A. physical director. The programme has been carefully prepared to avoid monotony, and trill be bright and attractively staged. The 350 well-trained members will give 22 items, with precision, and. speed that would do credit to a professional performance. Ladies will be responsible for many bright numbers, and the' senior men will provide the "hair-rais-ing" part of the programme with their daring feats on the horizontal bar. The_ orchestra will be under the direction of Mr. Andrew Williams, and will consist of leading Wellington professionals. His Ex : cellency the Governor-Qeneral and; party will be present ;on-the opening night.
