A scenic train of the Denver and Bio Grande system, bound from Salt Lake City to Denver, was wrecked near Salida, in the Canon of the Arkansas. Fifteen persons are reported to have been killed and fifty injured. The engine and three coaches left the Tails and hurtled into the Arkansas Biver.
