PARIS FEELS THE PINCH

RESTAURANTS TO LIMIT MENU.

(United Press Association.—Copyright.)

LONDON, sth September. The "Morning Post's" Paris correspondent says that, following out the public economy measures, the police have published a decree explaining the effect of the limitation of meals to two courses. A customer in a restaurant or tea-shop, or a lodger in a boardinghouse, is required to choose between moat, eggs, or fish, while restaurateurs are forbidden to tickle patrons' appetites by offering a menu for the choice of more than four meat dishes and three vegetables. The ban does not include cold meats and salads.
