PLUNKET MEDAL CONTEST
On Saturday evening in the Concert Chamber, the Victoria University College Debating Society will hold its annual Plunket Medal contest. Competitors speak for twelve minutes each, the subject of their address being some historical character of note, and the winner, chosen by a board of three judges, will receive the medal given as an endowment to the society by Lord Plunket when Governor of the Dominion. The contest is invariably well attended, and the public would be well advised to secure tickets at once. These are obtainable from students.
