BUTTER.
Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date 6th September: —"Butter. —The market is demoralised. Since our last report of 3rd Instant, prices ate lower a further 4s per cwt. There are over 1,000,000 boxes of various descriptions in cold stores. Quotations are nominal." The quotations in Messrs. Dalgety and Company's earlier cablegram (roferred to above) were also nominal, and were as follow:—"New Zealand finest salted, 164s to 166s Stored butter asking price, 160s to 1625, but little °Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London house, dated 6th September: "Butter market remains weak, dropping.
