INVERCARQILL, 4th September. The adjourned inquest on James M'Donald, who was found fatally wounded in the head by a rifle bullet at Burwood Station on 23rd August, was concluded here to-day. The police produced two letters writton by the deceased in which he stated that, owing to the suffering he was going through due to neuritis, he intended to take his life.
