FREYBERG TO MAKE A FURTHER ATTEMPT.

Colonel B. C. Ereyberg, V.C., has reached the French coast, to attempt to swim the Channel on Sunday.
' Michel French, Marathon swimmer,began an attempt to swim the Channel from Gris Nez on Saturday evening. A strong wind blew up two hours later, and Michel was persuaded not to continue.
