THE DORNE CUP.

The inter-club race for the Dome Cup over a course of five miles took place at the Hutt Park on Saturday afternoon, when te_ms representing Olympic, Wel v lington, and Hutt Valley Clubs competed. The teams' race resulted: Hutt 114 points, 1; Olympic, 169 points, 2; Wellington, 213 points, 3. The winning team for the Hutt Vajley comprised Kent, Dome, Pointon, Smith, Oliver, Gilchrist, Bowler, Sanders, Barker, and Mitchell. The fastest time was registered by W. Whelan, of the Wellington Club, whose time was 26mm 12_isec. Whelan thus - secured the cup, presented by Mrs. Dome.
