PALMERSTON N., sth Sept. An Association football team representing the Wellington junior and primary schools met and defeated Manawatu at Palmerston North to-day, by 8 goals to 0. Wellington were the superior combination, and pressed hard from the commencement, a rally by the home team in the second spell proving of no avail. Goals were scored by Thomas (4), Killen (2), Corkin, and Cartwright (1 each).
