KING'S THEATRE.
Quality is the outstanding feature of the programme that is now showing at the King's Theatre. The chief attraction is • Metro-Goldwyn production,- "Pretty Ladies," an intimate revelation of the life •nd love of a musical comedy pair. The film takes peeps into the inner life of night clubs, where only the privileged enter, and shows a woman's fight with a reckless stage beauty for a man, with many other exciting episodes. In the leading roles are Zasu Pitts and Tom Moore, and then come George K. Arthur and Lilyan Tashman. The supports are of a particularly high order, and include a Pathe news, New Zealand scenic, screen snapshots, and a comedy. The King's Select Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. A. H. Jerome, provides entertaining music.
