ANGLICAN SCHOOLS

SERMON AT LOWER HUTT.

Preaching at St. James's Church, Lower Hutt, on Sunday night, in support of the new Anglican Central Primary Day School, the Bey. Bernard R. White (organising secretary) stated that the churches had a great contribution to make towards the character and influence of a nation. Each factor must do its part and the churches must do theirs. The preacher drew attention to the Empires position in the world, which, he believed, wag not due to chance. Christian people wished their children to look towards that Power which directs the universe, and they desired their children to acknowledge Him who has made this great commonwealth of nations for some supreme purpose.
