HUTT CLUB.
The following are the best cards returned for the silver button bogey competition, played on the Hutt links:— H. H. Black (2), 1 up; R. A. Jones (15), all square; R. 0. Chesney (2), 2 down; M. Evans (5), 2 down; J. H. Wagg (6), 2 down; A. J. Park (15), 2 down; D. P. Stuart (8), 3 down; W. H. Zander (11), 3 down; J. It. Hlingsworth (14), 3 down; A. M. Cousins (14), 3 down; R. S. Johnston (18), 3 down; L. C, Hemery (6), 4 down; A. M. Adams (8), 4 down; J. H. Torlesse (9), 4 down; K. R. Mason (8), 4 down. Sixty-four cards were taken out, and some of the scores display good golf, as, although bogey remains at 73, the course has been made more difficult by reason of the additional length o£ 350 yards, the result of altering the positions of some of the holes. In the championship third round, E. 0. Chesney beat M. Evans, 3 and 2; Eana Wagg beat J. L. Climie, 5 and 4; J. L. Black beat Jack Wagg, 3 and 2; H. A. Black beat G. Y. Berry, 7 and 6. The semi-finals will be played next week-end over 38 holes, when R. 0. Chesney will play Rana Wagg and J. L. Black will play H. A. Black.
