KARTIGI FROM NEWCASTLE.
An arrival In port late last night was the Union Company's steamer. Katigl, with 3300 tons of coal from Newcastle. She left there at 2 p.m. on Tuesday last, and encountered a strong southerly gale, which made the trip very heavy going until yesterday, when the wind changed to a light northerly. Captain H. J. Doyle Is In command of the vessel, and ha* the following officers associated with , him: First officer, Mr. E. A. Cox; second, Mr. t. V. Clements; third, Mr. F. W. Scott; chief engineer, Mr. N. M'Murrlch; second, Mr. J. Brown; third, Mr. N. Earl; wireless operator. Mr. D. Bell; chief steward, Mr. C. Clarke.
