The Postmaster-General states that tests have shown that the new Friday morning air mail from London to Marseilles has invariably connected with the Australian mail steamers from Marseilles, thus giving English, correipondents twelve hours' advantage over the land route. It will also materially help the first big step in Empire air communications, announced by Imperial Airways to commence on New Year's Day.
