.Maintaining of red as the colour .for the tail-lights of automobiles has received the unqualified endorsement of the National Automobile Chamber of Commerce of America as well as many well-known, motoring organisations. One of the main reasons advanced for the opposition to any proposed change to yellowy, is that. such, a shift would be confusing to many. With eyes trained to a red light as tail light the presence of tho yellow light in that capacity gives the impression of a parking light or of some other signal which is confusing to the driver.
