Messrs. Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents dated 3rd September:—"Frozen meat quotations (prices on a 'delivered' basis, 1.c., Including storage charges, cartage, tolls, etc.):— Down lambs. 28/42's, 9d per lb; best North Island, 28/42's, B%d; ordinary North Island, 2S/42's, B%d; second quality lambs, B%d; best North Island wether sheep, 48/64's, 6Vid; best North Island wether sheep, 64/72's, sy-d; ordinary North Island wether sheep, 48/64's, 6d; North Island ewes, 48/64's, 4>4d: North Island Ewes, 64/72's, 4d; New Zealand prime ox beef, 160/220's, 4%d. As compared with quotations received last week, lamb is *A& dearer, best light wethers l-8d cheaper, best heavy wethers yd dearer, heavy ewes l-8d dearer, beef l-8d dearer. The market 1* steady but quiet."
