STRUCK BY MOTOR-CAR
MAN KILLED ON THE SPOT
ANOTHER MAN INJURED.
Injuries which resulted in almost immediate death were suffered by Mr. Marian Milicich, aged 45, when he was knocked down by a motor-car in front of his shop at 37, Cambridge terrace, at about 11.30 o'clock last 2iight. A passer-by, Mr. H. J. Cavell, who resides at 95, Majoribanks street, while running across Kent terrace for help, was also knocked down by a motor-car, and sustained slight concussion and abrasions. Milicich, it is understood, was running across the road from his shop when, he was struck by a two-seater roadster, driven by Mr. John Lorimer Allan, which was proceeding from the city on its right side. Ho was thrown several feet, and was picked up bleeding from serious head injuries, and badly mutilated. Death was practically instantaneous. He was a married man with two young sons. An inquest will be held. Mr. Cavell, after receiving medical attention, was taken to hia home.
