FARM INSTRUCTION GETS MORE POINTS.
The factory instructors aro paid entirely by the Department of Agriculturei So are tho farm dairy instructors, but in their case the dairy company or group of dairy companies with' whom the instructor works refunds to the Department half the instructor's salary and finds Ms means of travelling or the cost thereof. Following on the engagement of farm dairy instructors", some cases of 2 points improvement in grading have occurred, as from 91 points Jo 93. One of the Government instructors, Mr. J. Curie, was invited the other day to address tho annual meeting of the Rexdale Co-operativo Dairy Company, one of the Pahiatua companies' Mr. Curie stated that he believed that the directors of companies operating in the Pahiatua district should get together and form a group in an effort to introduce farm instruction. On that matter he could speak with the authority of knowledge, for it was a fact that wherever farm instructors had gone there followed distinct improvement in milk and cream.
