With espect to the Nolson Centre it was lecided that as the centre had ceased ;o function itß name be removed from iho roll of centres, and that the Welington Centre be asked to look after ;he territory of tho defunct centre. It was reported that 6481 certificates md been issued during the year to ichool children for proficiency in swimning, Hawkes Bay leading the list r.-ith 1187. Wanganui were second vith 1110, and Auckland thini with 147. ■
