"VTOTICE is hereby given that at a Spe- -^ cial Meeting of the Upper Hutt Borough Council held on the sixth day of August, 1926, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council, to be held on TUESDAY, the SEVENTH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1926, at 8 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Main road, Upper Hutt. ''That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 80 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Upper Hutt Borough Council, hereby makes by way of Special Order, under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and in pursuance of and exercise of every other authority or power enabling it in that behalf, to establish a Special Rating Area in the West Ward of the Borough of Upper Hutt as defined in the schedule and a separate rate of l%d in the £1 on the unimproved rateable value of all the property included therein." A copy of tho schedule referred to in the foregoing resolution and a plan of the aforesaid Special Rating Area, are deposited at the Upper Hutt Borough Council Office, Main road, Upper Hutt, and are open to inspection during office hours until the 7th September, 1926 L.
