UP TO MINERS TO MOVE
CONFERENCE MEETS TO-DAY. (Australian-lNew Zealand Cable Assn.) (Received 2nd September, 1 p.m.) LONDON, Ist September. Nobody is at present able to predict the course of the Miners' Delegate Conference to-morrow. Mr. Churchill informally talked to the mineowners' delegates after the rising of Parliament, but learned that they had no power to negotiate nationally. ThorSiOro many expect the next move to come from the Delegate Conference.
