MOST VIOLENT ON RECORD
IN HISTORY OF AZORES. (United Press Association.—Copyright.) (Australian-New Zealand Cable Assn.) LONDON, Ist September. The "Daily Express's" Lisbon correspondent reports that the earthquake in the Azores was the most violent in the history of the islands. The town of Horta was partly destroyed. The Government has dispatched doctors and nurses by the fastest warship.
