In the Legislative Assembly, shouting insults at the Speaker, amid disgraceful scenes of confusion and uproar, the Labour Opposition, after a lengthy sitting, marched out of the Chamber in a body to mark their protest against the Speaker's ruling that tho closure should be applied to a debate on tho Ministry's amendment of tho Standing Orders. Left without Opposition, the amendment was agreed to. In the distance, along the corridors the Opposition members could bo heard singing "The Bed Flag."
