ACCIDENTAL DEATH

* (By Telegraph.— Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Ist September. A verdict of accidental death was returned at the inquest on David Leslie Hanson, a railway ganger, who died at Auckland Hospital on 21st August as the result of being injured that morning by being knocked over by an engine iv the Parnell tunnel. He was not required to go into the tunnel until the smoke cleared. The lights were there for the convenience of passengers, not as a warning to workmen.
