HUTT VALLEY DRAINAGE SCHEME

A conference was held last evening between representatives of the'Petone and Lower Hutt Borough Councils on the question of the methods to be adopted in the carrying out of the drainage work in the western hills of the Hutt Valley. It is understood that arrangements satisfactory to both districts were arrived at, and if the report is adopted by tha respective councils there will be nothing to hinder the work being commenced im.mediately.
