BAROMETER. DUE TO RISE.. There is a distinct difference betweeji pressure on the .Bust Coast and that on tho West Coast of the. Dominion; there is j low pressure on the eastern side, and. high pressure advancing from the westward. Between the two, there is an -area of change. The low pressure that was in the north has accounted for a good deal of the unsettled weather, and scattered rainfall during the past few.days. . The winds aye still variable, though southerly breezes have ruled, with cold weather. The barometer is now due to rise everywhere, and variable and strong winds are forecasted, with southerlies predominating. In tho immediate future, cold and showery weather is forecasted by the Dominion meteorologist, and a cold night generally is likely.
