Lieutenant Chclles and Captain "Wetzer made a non-stop flight from' 'Paris to Bundar Abbas, a world's records.!-,,. The distance is about 3500 miles. The previous best was by Captain. Arrachafc and his brother on 27th June. .They; flew on the same route, but; had,to come down at Basra, on tho Persian Gulf, after flying 2714 miles in' 264 hours. They had fuel for another I' 4 hours' flying, but were physically "eJS£ hausted themselves.
