A number of Junior Somes Scholarships, tenable for Two Years (1927-28), are offered (a) for boys under 16 and (b) for boys under 14 years of age on the first day of December, 1926. These Scholarships are of the annual value of £15, with the addition in the case of boarders of £15. Applicants must be Members of the Church commonly called the Church of England or of any Church in Communion therewith. Preference will be given (<;etefis paribus) to the kindred of Maria Somes, the Foundress, or o£ her husband, Joseph Somes. Subjects of the Examination and terms of Election to Scholarships can be obtained on reference to the Bursar. The Examinations will commence on 12th October.
