No words were wasted in ordering a Sooeer player off: the field on SaturI day, if the version given to the Manj agemenfc Committee of the Auckland Football Association last evening is ! correct. A club-mate had been ordered I off by the referee for an alleged offence, whereupon the following brief but significant conversation is said to have taken place. A Player: "What a corker." The Beferee: "What! Jou dispuiamy de cision f'' — ' ' Yes.'' "Travel." Tho player wont.
