(Notes By "Trigger.") Last weok saw the eight round of matches .ired in tho C grado, and the scores of the four winning teams totalled 459 and the other team scored 457. There was. one possible, and that was scored by a lady, Mrs. Porter, of tho Petone Ladles' Club. This week the B grade fired their cichth round and some good matches are sot down for the. week. No results aro yet known of tho New Zoaland championship meeting, as the checkers have not finished their huge task of going over tho several hundreds of targets sent In.
