NOTICE TO MARINERS
The, Walkokopu Harbour Board notifies that the following changes hare been made .to the anchorage beacons:—
Front beacon.—Position: Lat. 39deg Olmln 17seo S., long. 177deg BOrain 27sec E. (from plan on chart 2523). A pyramidal shaped white beacon 30ft (0ml) high has been erected at a height of 200 ft (61m), and on 3rd September, 1926, will exhibit a flashing white light every, second, thus: flash, one-third of a second, eclipse two-thirds. Visibility: Five miles.
Bear Beacon (temporary).—This beacon la now on the site of the proposed permanent beacon, and exhibits' an occasional fixed white light visible three miles.
The beacons are now 500 yards apart, and bear 319deg when in transit.
