FEILDING, This Day. The Marton Jockey Club's Meeting is being held on the Feilding course* in dull weather. The track is rather heavy, owing to the recent rains. There is a fair attendance. Results:—
Trial PlaFe, of 115 soys; five furlongs and a half. —First Division: Beth, 9.0, 1; Arrow River, 9.0, 2;^Tea Time, 9.0, 3. Time, Imin 13sec. Second Division: Guadalquiver, 9.0, 1; Royal Time, 9.0, 2; Petal, 9.0, 3. Scratched, Boy. Time, Imin 15sec.
Firs^Hack Hurdles, of 140 soys; one mile and a half. —Rangi Sarto, 9.13, and Enare, 9.13, dead, heat, 1; Labour Morn, 9.0, 3. Also started: Gauntlet 10.0, Hokioi 9.9, Arch Salute 9.9, Diamond Ring 9.9, Lady Ben 9.5, Axle 9.5, Molto 9.0. Time, 2min 55 2-ssec.
Spring Hade Handicap, of 140 soys; eight and a half furlongs.—Mali Jong, 8.13, 1; Captain Gazeley, 8.5, 2; Mountain Jean, 7.11, 3. Scratched: Rahepoto, Wenday, Mister ,Gamp, Black Rod. Won by a head, two lengths between second and third. Time, Imin 58 2-ssec.
Marton Handicap, of 250 soys; one mile and a. quarter.—Killoch, 7.0, 1; Gold Jacket, 7.9, 2; Ring Potoa, 7.6, 3. Scratched: Subjection, Pepin. Won by a neck, two lengths between se'eond and third. Time, 2min 13sec.
