AUCKLAND, This. Day.

An area of bush in the Whangaroa County, containing about 15,000,000 feet of kauri, is to be cut in the near future by the Kauri Timber Company. The forest is situated about eight miles from* the Whangaroa Harbour. Arrangements arc being made between the . company and the Whangaroa County Council for the construction of a tramline to the bush, and it is intended to run a portion of the lino over the county road. It has not been decided yet whether the timber will bo milled iif; Whaujr."roii or rafted to Auckland.
