TMs was a reply to the Eepublican demonstration last month, which attracted less than one-fourth of to-day's crowds, in gaily decorated streets, where not a single Eepublican flag was visible.
For three hours Princo Kupprecht of Bavaria, Prince Oscar of Prussia, and Marshal yon Mackensen, surrounded by scores of military and naval officers, stood in the sunshine in the market place and watched a monster rally of Gorman Nationalists. - Twenty thous"and soldiers goose-stepped past, with bands playing. Among, eleven hundred banners and flags flying were those borne by former colonial soldiers, inscribed, "Don't Forget Our Colonies." The utmost enthusiasm prevailed. Every window on the route of the procession was packed with spectators, who Tamed flowers on the soldiers and frantically cheered as practically every Nationalist organisation in Germany passed.
