SOUTH ISLAND TOURNEY.
INVERCARGILL, 30th August.
The annual secondary schools (South Island) Rugby tourney commenced today. Results: Christchurch Boys' High defeated Timaru by 20 points to 18, and Otago beat Southland by 17 to 9. The finals are on Thursday, when Christchurch meets Otago and Southland meets Timaru.
