A call was received by the fire brigade at 10.9 o'clock List night to 48, jCoutts street, Kilbirnie, a draper's shop, ownrd and occupied by Annie Marie Barton. The building and contents were damaged by fire and water. The stock in trade and contents were insured for £1000 in the Royal Office, and the building was covered by a policy of £750 in the Victoria Oflige.g
