WHAT THE CENSUS SHOWS
Preliminary Census figures relating to the population of Wellington CHy were made available this afternoon.
They show that the population of the city this Census was 97,986, as against 88,920 in 1921, an increase of 9066. Gisborne Borough -*s population shorn an increase of 1916, from 10,931 in 1931 to 12,877. Census' returns issued yesterdty •*•:— ■
