BOROUGH CLERK CHARGED WITH THEFT
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TAIHAPE, This Day. Joseph Wham, until recently clerk in the employ of the Taihape Borough Council, pleaded guilty to-day to a charge of stealing /and fraudulently converting to his own use £07 13s lid, the property of the council. The accused was committed for sentence to the Wellington Supremo Oourt, bail being allowed.
