COLLISION IN MID-AIR

THREE .AEROPLANES CRASH.

(Received 31st January, noon). TOKIO, 30th, January. Three Japanese naval aeroplanes collided in mid-air above the Kasumigaura Aviation. Field. The occupants of two of the planes were instantly killed, but the pilot of the third, aeroplane effected a safe landing in the bay. This is believed to be the first instance of a triple collision in the air.
