DORSET MEN

A pleasant evemng_was spenfc'af Dustin's looms lasf^ evening when several Dorset men were farewelled, and presentations were made to members who are proceeding to England. . Mr. . H. Moore, secretary, was presented with a purse of sovereigns, and presentations were also made to Vice-presidents H. J. Poole and J. Bennett. The musical programme included the following:— Miss Ames, song; Miss Robinson, recitation ; Mr. J. Bryant, song; orchestral overture ; Mr. Hiscock, song ; Miss Hatter, pianoforte solo; Mr. H. /Moore, humorous recitation; Miss .M'Donald, song; Mr. Edward, song; and Miss Ames, song. Messrs. H. Moore, H;. J. Poole, and J. Besant arei making the trip to the Old Country to attend the annual reunion of Dorset men in London. The first-named will represent the ■society.
