LABOUR PARTY MEETING

In order to celebrate the success gained by the British Labour Party at the recent General Election and the formation of the first Labour Government in Great Britain, the/ Wellington Labour Representation Committee is holding a^ public meeting in the Empress Theatre, Willis street, on Sunday evening next, at 8 o'clock. The speakers will be Messrs. T. Brindle, (president of the N.Z. Labour Party), W. Nash (sectary of the N.Z. "Labour Party), p. Fraser, M.P., and Robert Sempfet The general public are cordially invited to attend. Doors will open at 7 o'clock," and to defray expenses a silver collection will be talcen. <- ■ . ■
